The Analogy of Perspective
I once came across this analogy about perspective, that is if you see a number in this side read as “6” then the other person will see it as “9”. This simple analogy illustrates how our viewpoints can differ based on where we stand. The truth is, whether it's a "6" or a "9," the number remains the same. It's our perspective that changes. This concept extends beyond numbers to our understanding of the world. We often see things from our limited viewpoint, not realizing that others might have a completely different, yet equally valid, perspective.
Beyond Superficial PerspectivesRegardless of which side of the perspective, the number is still the same, 6=9 from different side of the angle. However 6≠9 if you go one level deep in mathematics context. But from a context of just superficial perspective, we have a different opinion about what it means to all of us.The world is not you or me, the universe is one, everything is just matter of context and perspective. We don’t know what we don’t know, and if we can meditate in the world view that all of us as one, we can understand that it doesn’t matter if it’s 6 or 9, it’s just a number without meaning. It only means something if we add context to it.
The Take Home Message
So the take home message is that our perceptions and interpretations are deeply influenced by our individual contexts and perspectives. By acknowledging this, we can foster greater empathy and understanding among ourselves. When we meditate on the idea that we are all interconnected, we can transcend superficial differences and appreciate the underlying unity of our experiences. In doing so, we realize that the labels we assign—whether it's a "6" or a "9"—are less important than the shared human experience that binds us all. Embracing this mindset can lead to a more harmonious and compassionate world.

What Yoga Teaches Us
Yoga teaches us the profound lesson of unity and interconnectedness. It emphasizes the importance of aligning the mind, body, and spirit, fostering a holistic approach to well-being. Through the practice of yoga, we learn to cultivate mindfulness, which allows us to be present and aware of our thoughts and emotions without judgment. This practice encourages us to embrace compassion, not only towards others but also towards ourselves, promoting a sense of inner peace and acceptance.
